jason hernandez dude you have been inspiring me as a skate filmer/editor for the past 6 years. you got my dream job. you guys do an amazing job with the transworld videos but im thinking a full HD video is necessary. props for all your work.
  •
  • Jason Hernandez plus 1 year ago
Wow I appreciate that, you must also film skating as well, right? i just looked at your page and I see lots of other things aside from skating, If a Transworld job is your dream job then by doing what your doing will only help you... I think a lot of skate filmers stop there, the stop filming when the skating is done, and forget about the other aspects. Anyway's learn the other stuff, it'll help in the long run, oh and Im no longer with TWS I loved every minute working there, it wasn't eazy to leave, but you've got to move on. thanks for watching.

  • Jason Hernandez plus 1 year ago

  • lol ur eazy dolly inspired me to make a dolly ...came out great but made with pvc and not so travel friendly...yea i try and use some of your techniques in my vids now..question...how you shot the that 9 day competition in the warehouse...was that done in 720p 60p then slowed down in a program like twixtor..Or if it was the native slo mo, how the heck do you get the fabulous sound on the jibs!? thanks!

whoa, thats impressive. i realize this is an old video and that you might not respond to this comment, but how in the world did you get those fast tracking shots? they're too fast for a dolly, and you looked like you were holding a stabilizer. can you tell me? thanks, dan.
  • Jason Hernandez plus 3 months ago
If it was long lens it was probably a dolly, but every know and then i'll use a weight on the bottom of my camera to help steady rolling long lens shots
    thanks for watching.

Hi Jason, it's a pleasure watching this video because i've seen when you were filming with the Adio Team on Santiago, Chile (Specifically in the red building). that time was amazing, remember what i was walking to go downtown and i see the scene, was amazing, I was observing them as they recorded while was arriving the nostalgic to my mind across of everything videos where i see these skaters.

i'm filmmaker/editor too and i hope that you keep doing good works and cinematography in your movies, because if you don't not, i take an airplane ticket and replace to you Haha XD

    greetings
  • Jason Hernandez plus 2 months ago
Hell yeah, Chile is a beautiful place I love it there the colors, the streets, it's perfect for filming. Don't worry I know there's lots of people out there who'd kill for my job, it's scary Im gonna do my best to hang on to it.
    Thanks for watching
    Jason
