I'm not sure this has ever been clear: Flash conversion used to make the videos 320x240 (or smaller if the original clip was smaller). But we recently bumped it up to 400x300. So it's best to upload your clips at a higher resolution than 320 pixels wide, because it will be reflected on the site.

With reference to the 8th second I want to point out that it is really bad to harrumph. Doing that you totally stress your vocal chords and you don't even get rid of the mucus that is irritating you. On the contrary you even spread it on your vocal chords.

It seems that everyone on vimeo is fairly upbeat and, obviously, impressed with themselves. The thing that I can't get over is how annoying most of the staff are in these self-loving videos. I don't mean to be a downer, and I'm not really trying to hurt anyone's feelings. I've been lurking on this site for a couple weeks, studying the functionality and I'm quite impressed with the grids the layouts are based on, the player, all the options and how genuinely easy this site is to use. But these people... I'm glad I don't have to work there or I might hang myself. So party on.
