This child speaks up about her experience and feelings about Ontario's Office of the Children's Lawyer.
The Office of the Children's Lawyer was involved in this family's case for almost 2 years and according to this girl, the Office of the Children's Lawyer did nothing to help her. It took almost a year for the OCL lawyer to return this child's calls but by then the child's concerns were not longer important.
As with many other children, this child feels totally let down by Ontario's Office of the Children's Lawyer.
Its about time that Clare Burns, the Children's Lawyer clean up the mess at her government funded agency.

Taking months to return phone calls to a child is just not acceptable. The bottom line is that taxpayers are paying large sums of money to provide a service in which the clients are not happy and even when they are not happy with one lawyer are refused the opportunity to obtain another one. It's all about lawyers taking taxpayer money with no accountability whatsoever. Nobody knows how much the lawyers even bill for services.
We will be posting many other videos from other parents and children in which the message is all the same - poor service by Ontario's Office of the Children's Lawyer. We just interviewed another parent today about the Children's lawyer and will be posting that video in the near future as well so stay tuned for more videos.
