Created for the launch of Anime Network, this ID embodies one of the main stereotypes in traditional anime storytelling.

The contemporary iconic illustrative approach combined with the video game-like music took the storyline to a new level of interpretation. The animation was created with Adobe After Effects using solely solids and masks. Each element was animated separately and synched to the audio track, creating a tight relationship between picture and music.
