‘Spread the groove’ is our idea because we feel that this really epitomizes the vision of this song. The song has a lot of confidence to it from the very beginning, so the idea here is that we’re trying to spread the ‘feeling’ of disco as confidently as possible. Another aspect of disco was perhaps the idea of mixing genres and music; thus, the idea that it isn’t a singular vision that spreads the ‘groove’ of disco, but it’s when a group of people, a community, come forward together. In our video we hope to communicate the ideas of confidence, freedom, and, of course, fun.
We are a young group of individuals who really have a drive - a passion - to enter the production industry, and we feel that if we are to survive, we must believe in what we are doing at all times. An incredible amount of fun and dedication went into creating this vision, and we hope that you see it too.
