This was written at my friend Nick’s house on Boxing Day 2004, during editing and was inspired by a friend of mine who is a big old romantic, but who was invited to a Swingers Party; but was far too prim to go. I was going for a sort of Pam Ayres/Alan Bennett/Victoria Wood vibe with this one. I hope it comes across. As it were...
