This is one of my poems from 2003 from my sixth book; LOVE SONGS FOR THE BITTER AND TWISTED (published as AUTUMNAL LOVESONGS on lulu.com) I recently published a second compilation of my favourite poems from my 5th-8th collections as WOOED-ER AWAKENINGS just in time for my first poetry reading in April 2008. Find out more about the book at: lulu.com/content/2596133

Background Info:

Another odd poem that I think came about because deep down I felt I’d like to go and do something rash and thoughtless – but the older one gets the harder it is let your hair down. Especially if it's already fallen out... On the other hand I have no desire to be tied up in the yard, thanks very much!
