Too bad when this comes along, the majority of people will still be using IE6, and the common world web developer would still be developing for that. (Just a bad comment from a sad web developer.)

That is awful! Could you make anymore complicated? Who wants to organize their system files into chaotic piles of thumbnails that you swim through? "No honey it is the other pile of crap". Seriously.

Nice animation to top it all off too, ha ha. Was actual video too difficult to composite these UI's on? Gesh...

Brilliant and inspiring concept video. I would like to see the concept taken further, and I would like to see more concept ideas. The video production value was very good, still photography gets the point across very well, no need to shoot original video footage. Looking forward to the next concept.

It looks like a nice idea, but the interface looks so clumsy. I can't imagine that people would love to "work" with this thing. It looks like everything is thrown on the screen and users have to wade through them to find the piece of information that they are looking for. It looks a bit like my desk, and I don't always find what I am looking for ;-) That said, I do love the concept video, because it lets people think/discuss about the future of interaction and user interfaces.

I think that these UI concepts should be treated the same way that a car concept is treated. You won't see an exact implementation, but it leads the way for design cues. Just look at search sites like Viewzi or oSkope to see the future.

My only worry is that people are building these UIs now and with the introduction of the touch UI in Windows 7 and also the iPhone which offer finger-scissor like zoom in/out, rotation, etc. and add in the Microsoft Surface UI which already exists and I think that the Mozilla guys might have missed the boat on this.

Regarding the cloud like UI, sorry, but this is something that many of us have been working on for years, since the Xerox labs fiddled with it just after the WIMP UI was produced.

This is greatest concept so far I've seen. Your mind thinks exactly like this information is in a web. The only reason why you would not like this is for the very fact you have become accustomed to old UI that are imo outdated though this is coming from a artist ;D
