(abbreviated from feature film "Graveyard Valley")
Graveyard Valley is the site of where the last
St'at'imc /Tsilhqot'in war took place. Though peace had
been declared in the 1840's, it wasn't until 2003 that the
people officially buried the hatchet. Both nations
collectively joined to honor those who had passed and
declared their intentions to protect their lands from
further development. In 2007, the St'at'imc and
Tsilhqot'in Nations got together and constructed a
monument in Graveyard Valley , to honor the fallen warriors.
This film includes stunning cinematography of a breath
taking landscape as well as footage from these historic
ceremonies and interviews with elders and resource people
from the St'at'imc and Tsilhqot'in Nations
