Mind if i ask you your workflow? It could really help me out. Im trying to use Premiere with my hf100 so I can use magic bullet..but it seems to be very clunky trying to import the avc files, or converted mov files. I'd be curious to know what program, 3rd party converting software you use as you seem to be getting a pretty good workflow going. Thanks

I use Final Cut Pro & Magic Bullet running on a 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 iMac with 4 GB RAM.

Final Cut automatically converts the AVCHD to an intermediate Apple codec as it ingests the video. I haven't had any problems.

Mind sharing what you used for those end-of-reel blowout effects as a transition? I like the way they came out.
