McDowell Creek Photo Motion
I've seen some pretty spiffy Photo Motion style videos here on Vimeo, and was inspired to try the technique. Here are the results of my first experiments. This is a pretty straightforward grouping of sequential photos, but It did generate lots of ideas for further exploration. Lots of fun!.
I'm also jealous of all the HD videos here so I went ahead and rendered the video as HD. So nice to see such crisp images in a video. Gotta get me on of them fancy HD vid cams. :)
Shot with a Nikon Powershot S5 at McDowell Creek park in Oregon. Edited with Sony Vegas. Music is by Gurdonark from ccmixter.org.

This photo motion stuff is really fun. I got some great ideas while shooting these tests and will def. experiment further.
I just today ordered a Canon HV30 vid cam so I'll be shooting real HD very soon! so excited. I have been without a video camera for months and months - ever since my last cam got smashed in a horrible skateboarding accident. o.O
