Always look forward to watching stuff you post, but I'm having troubles with this one. Can't watch it in HD, non-HD, or even download. :-/

Hey! Thanks for pointing that out. I'm not seeing it myself, but I have with some videos before.

I think I may have exported it with the bitrate set to high, because the file size came out a lot larger than normal.

I'm rendering it again now, it should be right after I replace the file!

The old one is replaced! Tell me if it plays alright for you now if you get a chance! :)

Excellent! I can finally watch it. I really liked the shot of the close up of the bee. It looks like you added the vingnetting in post and it wasn't because you weren't zoomed in enough on your adapter. Am I right?
  • Matt Taylor 4 months ago
Actually it was because I wasn't zoomed in enough! It was really sunny and I couldn't see the LCD very well from the glare. God forbid I ever look through the view-finder, I don't think I've looked thourgh it since I got the camera!

The only thing I added in post was a black gradient border. Also, some shots were with the DOF adapter and some were without. I knew they would appear different from one another, but decided to try both anyway. Thanks for check'en it out!

Did you happen to notice how extremely well the bee fit in the video with the first few seconds? haha

    Video looks great

Some very nice photography here. What dolly system did you employ?
    Bravo.

Thank you! I used a smooth panning technique with my tripod and some rubber bands that I saw here:

    It's a useful trick! :)
