My Last 3 Hours of Logging Pedal's Footage in 3 Minutes
1 year ago
I recorded my screen during the tagging of last dozen reels of Pedal's footage. It took me about 3 hours, and I was left with a 20 GB movie file :P
So, I threw it in FCP, speed it up about 4,300% - and put a Mogwai song behind it. I thought maybe it would be semi-interesting'ish to watch, and also show a little better the way I organized so many hours of footage.
Thanks again for all the love during this process, it was a long and tedious 31 weeks... your comments helped us get through it. Now the fun part :)

i'm very excited to see the final result.
and again congratulation!
I hardly can imagine how hard and exhausting it must be to work so many minutes, hours, day and weeks for this goal.
But i think that everybody who watch your videos for this project will agree - it was all worth!
Wish you all the best.
Keep going!

You do like simles ;)
Thanks! I'm excited to get started editing - I hope all this organizing really pays off time-wise.
And considering my attention span....that's impressive :P
i'm exhausted just watching a small segment of that whole process. and, you're right, it did nicely illustrate the process you used. i understood it from your previous blogs, but actually *seeing* it really helped.
Congratulations :)
were you using another program to do all the tagging?
what program were you using screen shoot the process? or did you just shoot it?
And for the screen-record I just used iShowU :) which is also a great app.
