Hernani is a young up and coming rapper that decided to thread the R&B waters by rewriting the R.Kelly song “Hairbraider”. I found his version so refreshingly different and funny that I pressed him to shoot a video for it, but because I didn’t want people to forget that he is also a rapper, I thought it was prudent to shoot and attach his verse from the remix of the big hit “Continência” by 3YO!FAM. So it ended up becoming a music video of remixes.

It took us way too long to shoot. Firstly, because we had no deadline or any rush to deliver the video so we shot it over a period of at least two months, and also because the second portion of the video involved some research to achieve that effect.
