Visuals set to the audio of the famous sermon "Seven Way King" as spoken by Dr. S.M. Lockridge. The audio is slightly edited for a better flow in the video.

The music in the background was performed live by the GCC band while the video played on the screens. It then led directly into the worship song "Here is Our King" (To see the performance in it's entirety go here: gccwired.com/mediaplayer/playeropener.asp?id=478 )

Created entirely using After Effects with footage from the movie "The Passion of the Christ". The video took 30 hours to create plus around 6 hours of rendering. The final After Effects project file totaled well over 600 layers.

I am blown away . . . To me there's something about the simplistic nature of typography with spoken word that's like hitting a nail with a huge mallet. Especially this piece where the words are already powerful.

great stuff man, I work for Heartland Community Church in Rockford, and they just assigned me the same video to work on, so we'll see how it goes, did you just make the clips visible (start) when he said the words? Im trying to figure out the best way to go about it, and the fastest :) Great work man

AMAZING...i thought it would be well over 600 layers...i just did a 30 second typography of ron burgandy, and it was around 150, and took 7 hours....and i used mostly text....haha NICE WORK!!!

Thank you for sharing this. My wife asked me to find this sermon for an ESL class hosted by our church (about 3 to 6 students mostly from Korea/China) where the topic would be the Christian meaning of Good Friday/Easter. This is the best video for this purpose. It includes imagery of Jesus' life and crucifixion, it displays the written words for people who are still learning English vocabulary, and it has a very powerful audio track containing an amazing sermon and a unique "North American" styled message delivery.

i just want to share something awesome; i had my 15 month old baby girl in my arms while i was watching this video for i think the 8th time, and out of the corner of my eye i notice something dropping on my daughters shirt and when i looked at her i saw tears streaming down her face and she was laughing, i started crying from joy and i know that it was her spirit rejoycing, i just whispered to her "that is your KING" !! i want to show this to our bible group, will it be ok?
