Yeah, I was filming myself. I guess you can't really tell, but I was going *really* slowly. Other times, I'd be okay with falling, but falling WHILE filming yourself? That would have been too much embarrassment for one day.

The funny thing is that at first I thought you were walking on the ice - I haven't seen too many people filmed skating (on a non-competitive scale - ie not Michelle Kwan).

Of course, you probably would have gotten tons of sympathy if you fell as opposed to embarassment. (A bigger concern is dropping the camera) At any rate, I think a paraphrase from Ranma 1/2 sums it up best.
"If a girl falls down, it's cute. But if a guy falls down, people make fun of him."

Excuse me while I grow nostalgic at your mention of Ranma 1/2.

hahahah, i totally missed the emo revolution being in japan, but i guess im emo, or i was a few years ago. oh hell, who am i kidding im not emo i just had long hair and took a picture with it in my face and thought it was icon worthy. its one of my favorite self portraits whether it be pseudo-emo or not. yay.
