I love the commentary for its spontaneity.

I was going to write it down, but then I thought it would lose the diary style of it so - i just looked at each photo, talked about it - then edited the photos to match my dialogue

Here is the short dialogue from my Screenwriting unit blog:

    "The Baby Project"

A mother takes her baby boy down the front steps of a family home. It's Easter in Sydney, a cool autumn day with a tapestry of leaves slowly beginning to blanket the green lawn. She places the boy down on a clearer patch of grass. Next to him, she places a large glass platter of chocolate ginger eggs and a large chocolate bunny rabbit. It is time for photographs for the relatives. The child seems quite curious and inquisitive of his surroundings, it's his first autumn, his first Easter. His mother turns away from him whilst she readies the camera. Seizing this opportunity to explore, he decides to take one of these oddly shaped brown things, and puts it all in his mouth. The taste must be overbearing as his little faces scrunches up, half in comprehension, half overwhelmed. At his little sounds, his mother turns back to him and realizes what is happening. No! She quickly takes a photo, the little boy holding his hands over his mouth, most likely to conceal what he is doing. She grabs the egg out of his mouth and quickly cleans his face, all is well again, ready for the family photo.
    Minus one egg.

I imagine this would be part of a short series by various people. A narration over a bed of gentle or inspiring music describing a collection of photos displayed on screen. This piece was inspired by an event when I was almost one and also from a similar project I made in the holidays.
