JVC KY-27C SD to HD Test Shots
Short sample of the JVC KY-27C 2/3" 3ccd camera It has an S-VHS recorder back, and recording to it produces a less than great picture, so the camera's output was and fed directly to a Canon HV20 in DV mode to record to.
The clip was then upsampled to HD using Red Giant's Instant HD in After Effects.

lealar 3 months agoYes, I find it kinda' "video-ish", but it has a certain clarity to it that I like. I think the extra artifacting was due in large part to the uprezzing. The best part of this cam is it's ability in low light due to it's sensor size and the rack focusing it accomplishes without the need of a DOF adapter. I'll post another soon with no upsampling. just plain SD.
