OSC/ChucK soundtoy sketch
Processing sketch for a soundtoy using OSC to talk to ChucK which is generating the audio.
X and Y speed are being controlled independently by MIDI knobs, as are - ultimately - the relative sizes of the coloured sections which represent different notes in a scale.
The aim of this sketch was to explore ways of visually representing rhythmical structures that morph gradually from one state to another, rather than jumping. There's a nice moment where you hear a cross-rhythm which is has a clear visual component to it as well, due to the relative speed (frequency) up/down vs left/right. A familiar concept from Lissajous' figures.
