PROCESS 000 | 002 : Digital Reality
PROCESS 000 | 002 is a definition of its own form of reality. Existing in the memory of a computer the definition expands to an autonomous construction of reality which is fixed autointeractively on itself. In the sense of reality as event which changes by itself, the process is the sum of a multitude of digital processes, which react, communicate and interact with one another. As a realtime process the process exists in the same time context as the viewer and is a not repeatable consequence of causal relations after its initialization. Each initialization of the definition will bring out another kind of reality.
The process is no virtual simulation. It is rather a
definition of possibilities which can come to development in the space of digital memory. And it is sensuously not perceptible. In the nature of its existence it is
1-dimensional and exists on a level which withdraws itself from the general conceptions of reality. The visible spectrum is not the process itself. It is a graphic analogy on the process in which each procedure in the memory of the computer finds its graphic correspondence. The
analogy is a reference to the existence of the process. But it is more than only a visualization. In the linear memory of the computer each individual process is fixed to a storage area for the duration of its existence. Internally the graphic analogy is a mathematically higher dimensioned interaction level on which all processes can move freely for common interaction in a development cycle with no defined ending.
With the presence of a viewer two levels of reality comes together which exists in the same time context but are insurmountably separated from each other. The viewer cannot intervene in the reality of the process and for the process the viewer does not exist because the process is only viewing itself.
Until electricity turns off.
