Didn't want to venture out with all the snow, so I spent a little time making a new paper creature. 9 hours later, we have a lucky dragon. I timelapsed it, but since that was 9 minutes, I sped it up even more in iMovie.

Make your own with printouts from Canon: cp.c-ij.com/english/3D-papercraft/lucky/chinesedragon_e.html

Yes, Mei was definitely involved. She kept taking tooth picks, rolling around in the excess paper...

You'll see there are a lot more to do on the Canon site. My dad sent me this link for yamaha motorcycles.

Wow. I didn't think the dragon was going to be so large. And it's really cool looking. How fast did it burn?
  • Ben Millett 2 years ago
Yeah, I had no idea how big it'd be when I started. I imagine it wouldn't last too long if a match got close.

Does your hand hurt from all the scissoring?
  • Ben Millett 2 years ago
Yeah, it did. I had to alternate having my pointer finger inside and outside of the scissors handle.

This, I believe, is the third time I have watched this video. Your perseverance astounds me; amazing!
  • Ben Millett 1 year ago
Thanks! This was pretty easy compared to the papercraft I'm working on now. I think I'm about halfway done with it, and it's taken 16.5 hrs. Hopefully I'll finish it soon and post the video.
