Noah Winer of MoveOn.org on Net Neutrality
3 years ago
Noah Winer, one of my good friends (and former college roommate) stayed with me last weekend. Noah has worked for MoveOn.org for several years as their Campaign Director. If you subscribe to any of their mailing lists, chances are you get emails from him all the time.

Noah's a really fun and funny guy, but he's got his serious game face on in this video.
(By the way, MoveOn is probably one of the most successful and creative viral/email marketers in existence. Their 3.3 million members are incredibly active, send millions of letters, emails, and faxes to support MoveOn's mission, and they've repeatedly shown their ability to raise millions of dollars from small, individual donations, in mere hours.)

Telcos Want: Everyone's content rides thru slower tubes unless they pay to use faster tubes.
All I'd add: Net Neutrality is the way the Internet has always worked. It's what's allowed neat ideas like Vimeo, MoveOn, and Google to succeed on their own merits, without having to pay off AT&T and Verizon. Now we need Congress to make Net Neutrality the law.
Jakob, we'd love to include Vimeo in the Save the Internet Coalition. Want to join?

and i feel a bit more educated and "informed."
