Last weekend Joe, Peter, Cory, and I went to New Orleans and wandered around the city. We found this band, Loose Marbles, and sat out on the street for several hours listening to them and goofing off. Ever since, I've really wanted to learn how to swing dance.

I'm not sure I understand the question "what's he doin' on the streets of New Orleans?" .... He and the other band members are on the street, bringing the music of New Orleans back to New Orleans.

Alex,
Loose Marbles will be playing at Brooklyn's Union Pool Bar on Sunday the 27th at 10:00 p.m. At most other times you can catch them playing in Washington Square Park.

I haven't visited this site for some time. Realized the Loose Marbles fans here might be interested to know they have a myspace account now. So far though they haven't been listing where they play. The address is myspace.com/brucemarvel. There are 5 or 6 videos on there.
Loose Marbles was in Europe from mid-August to mid-September and are now back in New York. You tube has BOATLOADS of their videos!
