Hi Kevin - Yes we do ride inland but the wind is no where near as good as the coast. Unlike a power kite, we need wind at ground level, usually (in the UK where we don't have huge flat open spaces) the wind gets disturbed and is often gusty inland. However, at the top of hills, flat, exposed fields and airfields, it can still be a lot of fun. Living in the UK we are never more than about 3 hours from the coast, so for us it is worth the extra effort to have perfect conditions. And it is is much fun as it looks !!! - I have a video of us riding in snow and hail on an airfield - I'll try and find a copy to load here.
