Wow, that's really cool. How did you do that?!
  • Remi Noëll plus 3 years ago
    I think it's compositing.
4khz shot several ink drops that he puted on the wall the one after the other using a chrominance effect.
  • 4khz 3 years ago
    true. :)
  • paranoiaparadise 3 years ago
good idea, nice woman in the wind.
  • chris barraclough 1 year ago
really nice... and the camera movement and defocus, as well as the re-colouring was applied to image after compositing then cropped?
  •
  • archie 3 years ago
    incredibly moving, it almost hurts.
  •
  • danLinfield 3 years ago
She has some major joint problems! Hips, elbow, shoulder...

No, that's really nice. How do you do the flowing black lines?
  •
  • bent 2.0 3 years ago
I had to wipe my glasses off to make sure i wasn't see things. that was something else.

This is great. The color scheme is outstanding.
  •
  • beautiful.
  •
  • Lex Productions 3 years ago
Great! When you filmed the ink drops in water, did you record each as a separate take? Or time them out and made sure that the woman in the clip here did the same timing?
  •
  • Alex Itin plus 3 years ago
    nicely done
  •
  • Zibby 3 years ago
this is one of the nicest things i've seen in a while! really beautiful. i wanna sit on the ground there. (just wish the camera didn't jolt, but such is life, right?)
  • Ben Millett 3 years ago
But even then, the ink goes out of focus, too. Great attention to detail.
  • RL 2 years ago
I thought the camera jolt just added to the dreamlike feel of the video.
  •

Did the dye in the water get filmed one take for each stream, or was it all in one take? If all the dye was filmed in one take, it would have been difficult to have the woman time her finger movements and place them in the correct spot each time. Good work either way.

Again I am amazed at what I see here (as opposed to YouTube). But as this is a community of mostly creative amateurs, I'm perplexed that you don't share your craft as many have requested.

    questions:
The fluids, are 3d or filmed?
Would you teach-me how to do, if in 3d.. or give me the stock movies used for learning?
And the font used, in the beginning is pretty nifity.. what its name?
    nicely done.. congrats!

It looks like she's talking on a cell phone throughout the clip - too bad she's not, Id be more "affected" if she were. A bit mawkish, but very well done indeed.

Beautiful video. Very surreal an poetic. I loved the little subtle detail of the woman touching the wall and a stream of ink coming out of where she placed her finger. Very good attention to detail.
