Timelapse Football Field Installation - Part 6 of 8
1 year ago
10 hours in 30 seconds... We see more hash mark activity, as well as a big finish in the end zone. The lights were being replaced as well.
There were "issues" with this shot. A thick layer of clouds rolled in, and while SBG did its best to deflicker this mess, it was sort of inherently difficult. The time between shots was about 20-30 seconds. And the changes in lighting were pretty much as recorded. Also I was using the 400% DR, this works great for contrasty shots, like the beginning. Not so much for gray blahs at the end. Not quite what I was hoping for - especially considering the difficulty of setting up the camera on that godforsaken rooftop.

you need to edit these together and maybe put some sound behind it all. These could be great if you could just sell it a little bud ;-)
just a little hint Bob...

Rob.

It will be interesting to see what Bob has to say - if he likes it, I will feature it ;-)

Why not just burn the footage and pee on the ashes? What the heck! You are the next Ted Turner - except in reverse - take modern footage, and make it grainy, jittery.
Oh, and then to add insult to injury, ADD BACK THE FLICKER I spend hours removing! Do you know how many months I've been working on the deflickering algorithms in SBG? Do you?
