Just a quickie. Some more close-ups of butterflies and dragonflies to be found in North Yorkshire. Hand-held so a bit wobbly. Shot on a Canon HV20 with close-up lenses.

The close-up lens is working well. Excellent detail in some of the shots.

    Hi John
Many thanks. Considering that a set cost less than £20 they work extremely well.

Can I ask what setup/lenses you were using.
I know someone that likes his dragonflies, he would like to film them.

    Hi Stewart
The close-up lenses are just screw-in diopter lenses. The ones I have are +1,+2 and +4. They can be used individually or combined. You just need to get the right filter thread for the camcorder. Mine were manufactured by Kood and came from Ebay for about £20. The camera was hand held but in a lot of situations it is impossible to set up a tripod.
    Hope this helps

Didn't they pose well, considering that you were really up close and personal.

    Nice one John.
