Thanks, Phil. I shot it on regular still cameras, my Nikon D200 and a D2H. They have built in intevelometers that allows you to take photos automatically every so often (every second or even once a day). I set it up, turn it on, and come back in a couple hours. the shot of the cow in the pen was over a couple days (I had the camera take photos every 15 minutes).

once all the stills are taken, I used Quicktime to create image sequences--basically little movies. then saved them and broguht them into a video editing program (we used premier pro, although it could be anything). then just cut them down and arranged them in the most fun way with some crazy music.

I set the camera up in the rafters in the barn and had it plugged into DC power. It took 15-ish hours I think.
