FPV with new HD Cam @ Twinstar2
I found an easier way to have a HQ cam for FPV flying and at the same time recording my aerial fun.
Until now I had a laptop with a framegrabber at my base-station to record the video which my receiver got. This of course had limitations such as 640x480 and radio interference.
Now my JayTech Cheapo 720p SD-Card camcorder does the job. Recording is done in H264 and the quality is good for the price of about 120$!
Bonus of using the video from the cam: before takeoff i press rec - so a REC-TIMER shows me the duration of my flying on my goggles!
The colors are more vivid and light-balancing is also better as on an small FPV cam.
The weight is about 133gram - I had to move my battery to adjust the CG.

But under bright sunlight you have no problems!
