    Hello...
    Good shot...
How do you shot with infrared filter? Where is Canon XHA1 in B/W mode menu? Can you give me instructions?
    Thank you

Hi, and thank you for your interest.

To shoot with the infrared filter, I put the camera on MANUAL (M) setting and adjusted the image in the viewfinder to my taste. In my NLE, I also adjusted the contrast and brightness.

The B/W mode was accomplished by using a B/W preset in the preset selection.

    Hope that helps.

I have a Sony HDR-HD9 modified to see infrared. I have a few filters that have various visiable light cut-off rates. The clips I have tried are good though they are a bit flat so I adjust the contrast in Pinnacle. I also set the camera to black and white when shooting.
