To me you're faced with two problems. 1) you live at home so you're limited to a small space that can be yours. 2) The bed takes up a large amount of space but doesn't provide a proportionate amount of function.
Some ff the wall ideas: Put the bed on rollers and build a platform over it that is a study/work area. This really depends on how tall the ceiling in your room is.
Ditch the bed and go with a futon, daybed or click clack sofa. You still get a place to sleep but get more function during the day.
Ditch the bed and go with a true futon that you could fold and put in the closet.
You're in a problem lots of people have in that the room is defined by its main function rather than being adapted dynamically to what function you are using it for
