The new Mesa Community College Physical Science building is designed to be a living, breathing model of science and engineering education at work. This is the first LEED certified building for MCC and the first major LEED certified for the Maricopa County Community College District. A Salt River Project-donated solar power system will partly power a 57-seat planetarium with an Evans & Sutherland Digistar 3 projection system, another first for MCCCD.
