Nick Gray is going to kill me for posting this
2 years ago
If you didn't know, Nick Gray was my roommate in college. In 2003, we made this clip. I remember sending it to Jakob who lived in San Diego at the time, and he wrote back something like "This is an embarassment. I really hope you don't think this is good."
It's been lost for years, until I just found it on an old backup CD today.

i remember the random dancing clip from somewhere else
But really, so much has changed since 2003. The director in me cringes to say this, but I think quantity is more important than quality. Which is not to say that quality is not important, but: I would rather see 3 low-grade videos a week than one "good" video every three weeks. It's about staying in touch with your friends, not creating everlasting art (this is a founding principle of Vimeo).
I was probably annoyed that of three videos you made all year, each one wasn't incredible.
The quality can increase once you get the quantity down. I'm glad you made this.
And dude, we used to be REALLY good friends.
PS. We ARE really good friends. But, you live in suburban Atlanta and I live in New York and we're both workaholics. Something's gotta give.
You need to.
We saw the Streets passing by on our way to the Blur gig but the tent they were playing in was too crowded to go further in so we didn't see that much of them..
Because that's exactly how it goes down.
