So did you get a good amount back? Was that a wild rabbit, or someone's pet?

about a hundred from the hundreds I spent, but that's not considering what my tax return covered.

the university of victoria has a giant rabbit population. at one point they were all domestic, but that's several generations back.

This was interesting for me to watch because I hardly ever sell books back. I dunno how many times I've used previous years' books as references. Book stores rip you off, so I just keep them as an investment. I tried to start a facebook group for students to sell their books to other students and eliminate the middleman [who rips them off] but nobody did it. :(

I feel you, man. I keep 90% of my books, but 10% always seem to be redundant and useless by the time the course is over.

so one year i sold my books back before i got my final grades - ended up failing one of my classes (it's cool - it was 301 accounting) . the story goes i bought that book again, used, for more than I bought it in new condition. although my accounting is weak, i went ahead and chalked that one up as a LOSS

I like the shot where your brushing your hair and holding the camera. I continue to think you are totally awesome.

Maybe he suggested the short, incomplete edition because of the size of it. The full version probably needs a forklift.

    Great video.

Reading these comments when Genesis walks up, looks at your avatar and says,

    G:"Pirate!!"
    Me:"yeap"
    G:"Arrrrrr!!"

Ahhhh, the memories of the Norton Anthologies. We had those where I went to college. They were always lacking. Comments on Vimeo are almost just as good as any classic literature!

I love your comments/reviews of the books...great stuff!

I held on to most of my college textbooks as an "investment", too. It didn't take me long to figure out that no one really wants old college textbooks. I should have sold them when I had the chance.

    Carol Shields...
Uh... I remember reading Stone Dairies, last year, in grade 12. Not... not good. And I really wanted to be reading another book instead, at one point my friend caught me looking longingly at the book I could not read, while holding S.D. and when she commented I said "It's like Carol Shields is cock blocking me!" but uh, I said it louder than I meant, and the cafe was pretty quiet, and it basically echoed around the room for awhile.

In end, I hate Carol Shields, and the Stone Diaries.
And how there are so few decent Canadian authors.

you should sell your books on half.com, you'll get more money for them.
you should buy your books there too, cheaper.

you should write books on vlog.
