Speaking of debates per a NYT article also posted up on Mudflats blog looks like the VP debate is going to be UNFAIR all because Palin is NOT ready:

At the insistence of the McCain campaign, the Oct. 2 debate between the Republican nominee for vice president, Gov. Sarah Palin, and her Democratic rival, Senator Joseph R. Biden Jr., will have shorter question-and-answer segments than those for the presidential nominees, the advisers said. There will also be much less opportunity for free-wheeling, direct exchanges between the running mates. McCain advisers said they had been concerned that a loose format could leave Ms. Palin, a relatively inexperienced debater, at a disadvantage and largely on the defensive.

McCain advisers said they were only somewhat concerned about Ms. Palin’s debating skills compared with those of Mr. Biden, who has served six terms in the Senate, or about his chances of tripping her up. Instead, they say, they wanted Ms. Palin to have opportunities to present Mr. McCain’s positions, rather than spending time talking about her own experience or playing defense.

It would be a great honor to have Obama use my video... I would even do more for him as a contribution to the campaign... I've already sent him so much money, however, I think using my strengths as a media producer is more valuable than monetary donations at this point.

I have sent the video to him through his website, but I have not received a reply. I'm sure they are inundated with stuff like this, so I think it needs to get there through another channel. Maybe it will happen, but at this point, I have to just hope for the best.

That is very kind of you. I'm not sure what that would look like though... I'm just a guy with an internet connection with no connections whatsoever to the MSM.

Besides, I think if this were officially endorsed by Obama's campaign, it would be subject to a lot of scrutiny. I am sort of equating him with Ghandi and MLK, after all... :)

Personally, I think his POTENTIAL is worthy of the comparison in this early stage of his career... but history will determine his historical weight... not me.
