This movie clip can be originally found embedded in a 300MB zip file that was attached to a September 17th, 2008 news item by Akihabara News on the new Canon EOS 5D Mark II.

Watching the movie above seems to show the seem rolling shutter problem the nikon D90 has, but when you download the original video file, the video is very stable and shows no weird image skews.
Hopefully there will be more video's soon to see a bit better how it performs with fast panning and such.
As for the werid colours, that's most lightly just wrong white balancing and overexposed stuff...
That doesn't mean that the D90's video is bad, as for my needs, they're more than enough.
But looking at Nikon's choice of bit rate, encoding, compression algorithms, etc seems, to me, that Nikon meant to target the D90's movie mode for the "non-pro" crowd.
