I like your definition of autism. It really helps to understand autism as part of a whole individual, and then to understand that individual as part of whole relationships. I'd love to see clips of you interacting with a close friend, and then for you to comment on that interaction. Aside from discussing an interesting topic, you're very eloquent and entertaining. I can't wait to see more.

This was great. Appreciate it. (I am bi-polar and have always suspected that my brother and I also suffer from aspergers.)

I really liked your use of the myth. That's a great way of looking at the world, and it makes me wonder if we don't all do that, whether we are "neurotypical" or "aneurotypical" (or whatever the opposite of that would be, although the term itself is strange, because normalcy is such a fabricated concept).

I'm a neuroscience major, so I couldn't help but wonder while watching this if you've read or are interested in any of the mirror-neuron research that is going on?

Please continue doing these, I think they are fantastic, and I don't think you need to switch to a more "warm and fuzzy" topic.

My brain routinely fires of everything at once and leaves me on the floor. I have always found the idea of 'normal' quite odd.
I had a question about language and you after the last time. Did you have an easier time in Japan and Japanese due to the great amount of cues people give as to what is expected versus Enlgish?

I overheard someone talking in my 3d class about thier husband who was jusr diagnosed with Aspergers. Without your videos I wouldn't have any idea what it was. Thanks for making and posting these videos they are very interesting, informative, Keep making these!

You are a fantastic human being, who gives a shit how you communicate, you think, which a lot of "normal" people don't bother with.

This sounds crazy, but I'd love to make friends with you.

Emily, please continue making these awesome videos because I'm hoping they will give me some insights into our autistic daughter. Reading things on the internet is one thing but having the words interpreted, honestly is what is what makes this video priceless.

bahh... fuzzy is overrated. Stay in the cerebellum, lots of pretty neural fireworks to watch in there.

Hey there I find you did well and seemed less nervous then I would have been I mean. I too have Aspergers I find it difficult to watch myself on cam so that makes me nervous. Sorry if there are spelling errors. I'm doing my best to convey how Aspergers too effects me in the same way only I like to make music and stay home then go out and deal with the real world thus I stay in doors 95% of the time. The outside world is scary I don't know how people do it lol.
