Quilt by Ramona
Dr. Ramona Bates who runs the blog "Suture for a Living" (rlbatesmd.blogspot.com) made this "crazy quilt" for my daughter out of "scraps." How this can be a "scrap" quilt is beyond me, because although the panels aren't part of a larger design, the ability to do all of the stitching, combining, etc. is beyond me. Most of all, it is the gift of a friend that went beyond me and thought of my daughter that is the most special.
This was taken relatively at night just before her bedtime so she's a bit subdued (and also why things are a bit grainy and yellow from the table lamp next to bed). However as the end shows, the most important critic gives it two piggies up--WAY UP. :D
Thanks Ramona, you're the best!
