Get this compound with a bunch of graphs already done in ICE.
In this video I show how these could be used to affect the position of a particle, adding to the force attribute, speed. Or using it to blend colors...

    So what exactly is "ICE", i havent heard of it...is it a 3rd party particle system for XSI?, its node tree looks similar.

    ICE is a framework exposing the XSI core in a dataflow diagram fashion. Nodes are just representing data.

    You can see it like this: XSI's particle system is made using ICE. bam!

    But I suggest you visit Softimage website and take a look on their description for a more complete information.
