Smith College Rec Council and Verizon Wireless present Lights!
Lights looks up bashfully at the end of her first pieces, then relaxes a bit and invites us to clap a long with her. “You guys are awesome,” she says breathlessly. “Ice,” one of her singles and first on the EP, carries itself with a superb beat and starts out impeccably clean, bouncy, and complexly quick, not unlike the artist herself. Though we’re all sitting, some get up to dance in the aisles—Lights’ music is infectious, delightful, and demands movement.
