Hi Guy, I do not know if I should get the SVM Stero Videomic or if I should get the other one with the built in shock mount.. do you have any suggestions? thanks! I was looking for something around $150

@marc - the RODE Videomic would fit the bill. It sounds great and hits your budget. Otherwise, consider looking for an XLR adapter and going for some XLR based mics so you can run the cable further.

Guy, I'd like to thank you for your help with my recent purchases. I was also very happy to see the dead cat in the shipment. which type of camera did you use,will it give the same good results with canon hv30,wiil the sound come out sharp as as this demo
