My X Girlfriend
This film was produced for the 2 Days Later Horror Short Film competition in 48 hours from script to screen. It was shot on the Sony FX1E and all post work was done entirely on Final Cut Pro.
A few words about this film; it is indeed award winning at a local film festival and I am to a certain extent proud of this piece as it was my first film that gained true recognition. That being said, I look at it now and see nothing but mistakes and I am slowly beginning to despise this film. I have no regrets in it's final presentation and it was what it was at the time. I believe soley that I can do much better now and that is part of life- to embrace what you have achieved and then move on to improve and further succeed in your field. That is what I intend to do.

it was pretty good. the idea was alright, but hey, it probably would have been a lot better if you had more then two days, am i right? the ending was kinda hilarious. the main character is an idiot, or hes in love, i cant tell. you dont have sex with the zombie dammit. its like an std. you wouldnt sleep with herpes, would you?
overall, i enjoyed it.
Seriously, thanks for the comments man, I am glad you enjoyed it.
My only critisism is the intro. Personally, I'm not too fond of text intros. This one in particular was a little dragged out ie. few words in a long time period. But the newspaper was a great idea, and my suggestion would have been to convert the all of the text into several different headlines.
Good work.
The intro was rushed to fit the time restraints, but I am in the process of a re-edit where I am going to revamp the intro. I will keep your comments in mind.
Thanks again.
I also was rushed with my zombie film. We edited it from midnight to 7am because it was due for class in a few days. I'd like to touch up some things as well.
