Safari has started this weird auto hiding thing after I quit the app. I don't know why. Made a video about it, and it goes something like this...

the problem, eric, is that you're scrolling and clicking in safari, instead of firefox. seriously, safari started doing random stupid things to me like this well over a year ago, which is why i stopped using it.

have you tried trashing your preferences? have you run disk utility (or something similar) to check/verify permissions? those two things usually resolve these apple "features" for me.

Thanks for your comment and tips.

Yeah, I tried all that - I use MainMenu to keep permissions and nice and tidy. I use Safari because I prefer it - this new weird behavior is the first time it's ever done anything weird. That's more than I can say for FireFox. Hopefully I can nail down this bug before I go completely insane. Rock on.

In case anyone else had this problem with Safari, I figured out the problem. By un-checking the box that said "Confirm close when multiple tabs are present" I caused this goofy behavior. When I re-checked that box, Safari stopped this auto hide bologna.

    Just an FYI.
