I really like this song - it has a "broken social scene"[band] feel to it. Which is a plus because I like them muchly. My favourite part was the reverse plastic bag at 1:27. :)
I'm interested in your upcoming album too! I'll keep an eye out.
:) Nice. Some pretty neat effects, etc., in there. The shot at 1:04 was amazing - I figured out that it is a wall, but it is still a great shot... :) The macro of the cat at 5:35 is cool, and the shot at 4:44 was an awesome shot... but the movement of the camera messed it up. :( Running across the bails of hay (0:56) was a great idea, too.
Anyhow, it was great to see your work! I hope to someday have the tools and skills to accomplish whatever I envision... it starts with "whatever I set my mind to."
I heard voices from about 4:11-4:17. Was this intended?
Thank you. The talking you heard in the recording was intentional. This song was recorded spare of the moment, literally. Bass and guitar was added later on. The vocals were captured at a time when our singer was not in his right state of mind, and I'm convinced this song could never possibly be reproduced on a recording.
I know what you mean about the shot at 4:44, but i really like how it turned out, considering i didn't have a steadicam to use.
I hate to be the dissenting voice but I thought the effects were wacky, and a few cuts seemed way to quick for the pace of the song. There were some awesome beauty shots in there though. Plus, the mood was on spot. However, there was one thing I didn't get, whats up with that aspect ratio? Looks like it was masked to look wider than it really was. That's one of my pet peeves.
Very nice video with some mesmerizing shots. But I think some of the color effects are so 90's, kind of corny. I think it messes up with the Sigur Rós mood of the music and shots. Loved the reverse plastic bag. (Forgive the badcomments, but I think it is so good, it's flaws deserve to be pointed out somehow.)
Yeah, thats an idea for something else maybe.
The thing is Brendan, I think if i were to do that with this film, there would be no way to capture the true feeling that i was trying to get across. Thank you for your interest though.

I was there. Nice to meet you. I kept it pretty low key and didn't sit with the other filmmakers or take the stage at the end of the night. But thank you
loved the plastic sheet in reverse~

You can also go into the Motion tab, then Crop and it will do the same thing
Honestly, just fuck with everything in there. If something screws up, start again
you'll learn your war around quickly
