This is a video of me showing off a granular transformation patch I wrote for the monome, in the ChucK programming language. It's kinda cool.

The patch is available at 3than.com/sparklesound.latest.ck

I realized after editing that the subtitles are way too fast -- my bad. You'll just have to pause it for now.

Does Chuck offer standalone application export? Could imagine it being interesting for voice editing on stage, yet I can't clearly hear how voice is altered in the video.

ChucK doesn't do standalone apps -- it's not necessary since it's free. Also, like java or perl, it's not pre-compiled.

A lot of people will write a simple shell script (or batch file in windows) to start ChucK with the right patch and audio device -- this definitely helps with live performance.

Give it a shot, if you have any questions, find me on the monome discussion board.
