You did a wonderful job on the video! You hoped for 1,000 Americans to see this video and now many more than that have! I will show this to my Karen friends as well. May God richly bless you and your family.

Good work on the video. My church in Pennsylvania is sponsoring a Karen family. Nel's cheerfulness and ambition are typical for the Karen who have settled in our area. Thanks!

Nel, this is the first time I have seen any photos of Burma or have heard from someone whose family spent time in a refugee camp. Nor have I heard of anyone feeding a water buffalo! Your story has enlarged my world view. Thank you for telling your history. Good luck in school!

I was so excited to find your video, Nel! I live in a fairly small town in Indiana, and recently 35 refugees from Burma have moved to our town because the refugee agency that worked with them was able to find employment for them here. Many of them are Karen and some are Chin. The community is helping with donations of furniture and other household items. Many of us are eager to learn more about life in Burma and about the Karen people.
Thank you so much for sharing your story. The video was beautifully done and was very interesting and touching. Your sweet spirit shines through it all!

Praying God's blessings for you and your family,
    Deb

Hi! I am an ESL teacher from Smyrna, Tennessee, and we have a growing Karen population at my school. I loved your video - I was able to share it with my students and colleagues, and now more people have a better understanding of these incredible people. Thank you!!
