The walk to my local post office is considerably less scenic!

A trip to my neighborhood P.O. would be a different matter; I keep a box downtown near my old office...

Nice walk. Looks very much like a Henry Moore sculpture outside Symphony Hall.

He's from Leeds (where I live). Probably the city's most famous son.

Oh,yes. Though we prefer to be known as "Yorkshiremen" first and foremost.

We're only about 10/15 miles from the birthplace of another famous Yorkshire artist: David Hockney (though you'd be forgiven for thinking he was a Californian!)

    "Yorkshiremen" -- I'll remember that.

Though the beauty outside was gorgeous, for some reason, my favorite part was the PO boxes. So many little compartments.

I was very lucky to get that shot of the empty Post Office -- usually the place is bustling with activity.

Yes, I've always admired the Wit that allowed such negative stereotypes of Learning to be displayed at the entrance.
