    Was this shot in HD or in DV? There is a noticeable effect from flashes, so it looks like HDV.

    It was shot in DV. The effect you see from the flashes is called "rolling shutter" and it's a limitation of the CMOS sensors of the camcorder. It's noticeable in slow motion.

    Is it better to shoot in DV, than to shoot in HD and downconvert to DV? Because the images look stunning to me. Also do you use a on camera light?
