1. How to read a book you don't want to read

Author Jim Trelease shows the similarities between reading a book you don't want to read and cutting down a tree tucked between three houses: You take it down either chapter-by-chapter or piece-by-piece. He also offers tips on reading position (elevate the feet level with the heart and you're getting less oxygen to the brain and inviting drowsiness) and the brightness of the bulb (dimmer=more eye strain and fatigue). He also notes the tree-cutters were not taking cellphone calls or listening to music. All in an entertaining 9 minutes of video from one of America's most popular lecturers.
