    Dang; proves that without being able to select the aperture, that daylight videos will be stopped down and hardly distinguishable from regular consumer camcorders.

    Hopefully this will be fixed in firmware... However, slap a nikon adapter on there and BAM... DOF out the wazoo

    And like stated above: for those serious about controlling aperture it won't be a problem with filters and such.

    Of course, it's still a shame that it isn't built in.

    Problem with ND filters is that since the 5DmII automatically selects ISO, shutter speed and then aperture, you'll end up with high ISO and slow shutter speed neither of which you need for daytime.

    I think the better solution would be using the trick that's on the web to hit the DoF preview and breaking the lens contacts with a bit of plastic.
